MILE HIGH BISCUITS RECIPE


Ingredients

12 servings

  1. 3 cup flour
  2. 1/4 cup sugar
  3. 4 tsp baking powder
  4. 1/2 tsp cream of tarter
  5. 3/4 tsp salt
  6. 1/2 cup shortening or oil
  7. 1 egg
  8. 1 1/4 cup milk

Method

15 mins

  1. Preheat oven to 475
  1. Combine dry ingredients.
  1. cut in shortening until mix is crumbly
  1. add all other ingredients
  1. mix until dough forms ball
  1. knead dough on floured surface about 10-12 times
  1. roll out dough to about 3/4 inch thick and cut with 2 1/2 inch cutter
  1. place on ungreased pan cook for 12 to 15 minutes
