MILE HIGH BISCUITS RECIPE
Ingredients
12 servings
- 3 cup flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cream of tarter
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup shortening or oil
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cup milk
Method
15 mins
- Preheat oven to 475
- Combine dry ingredients.
- cut in shortening until mix is crumbly
- add all other ingredients
- mix until dough forms ball
- knead dough on floured surface about 10-12 times
- roll out dough to about 3/4 inch thick and cut with 2 1/2 inch cutter
- place on ungreased pan cook for 12 to 15 minutes
