Zucchini Bun Sliders Recipe



INGREDIENTS

2 large zucchini, sliced 1/2" thick
1 lb. ground beef
3 slices cheddar, quartered
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Sliced tomato, for serving
Pickles, for serving
Mustard, for serving
Ketchup, for serving

DIRECTIONS

  1. Shape beef into 12 equally sized patties, about 2” wide. Using your finger, press a shallow indent into the center of each burger. Season both sides of each patty liberally with salt and pepper. 
  2. Heat grill or grill pan to medium high. Grill zucchini and burgers until crust develops and browned, about 2 to 3 minutes per side. Top burgers with cheese. 
  3. Arrange burger patties in between grilled zucchini with tomato, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Secure with toothpick.
